I was caught behind a Camry driver on the freeway today. While that isn't terribly unusual, this particular Camry had the "brake lights always on" mod. I love being behind cars with this mod so that I can play the adult version of red light, green light - is it stopping, or is it going... stopping now? or still going...

We happened to take the same exit, turned the same direction, and get caught at the same light. I slid into the right lane to get around it and found two windows down, two guys on the passenger side, and a woman driving. I couldn't pass up the opportunity. I rolled my window down and said "excuse me, either your brake lights are stuck on or you are resting your left foot on the brake." With a goofy grin on his face, the rear passenger gave me a thumbs-up and replied, "thanks, buddy!" The driver didn't seem as enthusiastic.

Since I was leaving a two-car gap in my lane, I rolled up the window, rolled up to my place in line, and felt immense satisfaction for the opportunity to set something right.

Saw a car with that mod on the freeway. I was traversing said highway during the tail end of rush hour, when the traffic may have some slow spots, but might not. The car with the brake light mod go on the highway a ways in front of me, and I thought we was slowing down so I slowed down.

Thus probably causing a traffic jam later. lol.
